Vessel

Australian start-up Vessel has unveiled a 750ml recyclable aluminium water product, helping consumers access sustainable water solutions.

Compared to other water packaging options like plastic or glass, aluminium is durable, lightweight, airtight, and shatterproof, resulting in rapid recycling and reducing environmental impact.

Vessel creates the first Australian reusable bottled water

The name of the product – Vessel – was inspired by a freight ship, with founders Giovanni Testini and Jason Haggar registering the name because they believe it perfectly encaptures their mission.

Each Vessel bottle can be refilled and reused at least 15 times – along the way removing 1.2 million single-use plastic water bottles from circulation.

Consumers can now buy Vessel in more than 1500 Woolworths, Coles, Foodland, Romeos, and Harris Farm stores.

The brand pledges to keep developing new products and formats to introduce this year.
