Pharmacycle has partnered with a pharmacy chain Chemist Warehouse to roll out a blister pack recycling initiative in 100 pharmacies throughout Victoria.
Starting in National Recycling Week, this program offers customers a sustainable solution when disposing of empty blister packs.
To contribute to Australia’s circular economy, Pharmacycle produces blister packs and retains all materials within Australia. All recovered materials from blister packs are also repurposed to create new goods using Pharmacycle’s recycling technology.
In addition, recycling bins bearing the Chemist Warehouse and Pharmacycle brands will be positioned close to the dispensary areas.
