A plush toy that helps protect real animals – that’s the idea behind Fahlo, a company that seeks to combine play with purpose.

Each of its plush animals comes with a bracelet and a built-in tracking feature, allowing users to follow a real animal’s journey on a 3D map.

Carter Forbes, co-founder of Fahlo, said the company aims to spark curiosity about wildlife and motivate people to engage in conservation.

“By combining technology with storytelling, we help people connect with nature in a meaningful way,” said Forbes.

Beyond interactive play, the toy company actively supports wildlife protection efforts.

Fahlo donates 10 per cent of its net profits to global conservation organisations, funding projects that safeguard endangered species and their habitats. Since 2018, it has contributed more than $4 million to conservation initiatives.

“Play can be a catalyst for positive change,” added DJ Gunter, co-founder of Fahlo. “We want every plush to serve as a reminder that small actions – whether learning about an animal or supporting conservation – can make a difference.”

By transforming toys into tools for awareness, Fahlo hopes to inspire a new generation to care for the planet and its wildlife – one plush at a time.
