Australian brand Wash Wild has launched a new line of plant-based household cleaning and body care products, tapping into the thriving “green” market.

Belinda Everingham, the founder of Wash Wild, expressed her motivation behind the expansion: “We wanted to create a range that was natural, safe and affordable, but also beautifully fragrant. Australian native plants have such uplifting aromas. “

The product range comprises more than 99 per cent plant-derived, non-toxic, and biodegradable ingredients, including laundry liquid, dishwashing liquid, toilet cleaner, multipurpose spray, hand wash, and body wash.

At the same time, the packaging is made from recyclable bottles using post-consumer recycled plastic, aligning with the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

Collaborating with Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Wash Wild has identified blends of locally available botanical oils such as – lemon-scented eucalyptus, Tasmanian pepper, lemon myrtle, and blue gum – to give each product an inherent antibacterial quality.

“People can ‘escape to the bush’ throughout the day while washing their homes or bodies,” Everingham concluded.
