Australia’s zero-waste beauty brand, Scoop Whole Beauty, has launched a plastic-free, refillable and mineral-based product line, which has been an innovative approach to sustainable beauty.

Besides eliminating single-use plastics, Scoop Whole Beauty has demonstrated its commitment to sustainability through a number of initiatives, including:

  • The brand launched an eco online platform Go For Zero, showing the brand’s dedication to using only natural, locally sourced, and 100 per cent non-toxic components.
  • The brand won the Mud Cake Mascara Compact award, breaking barriers and conventions within an industry desperate for change.
  • The brand introduced refillable luxurious products made from reusable certified bamboo and glass containers, providing customers who favour sustainable solutions with a high-end experience.
  • The brand’s in-store closed-loop system allows customers to refill and reuse, reducing the demand for single-use plastics.

Scoop Whole Beauty’s efforts also prove that the beauty industry can be beneficial for both people and the planet. It encourages consumers to choose products that promote sustainable practices.

With millions of tonnes of plastic waste each year, the beauty industry contributes to the plastic pollution. Beauty experts emphasise that this sector needs to change in order to lessen the environmental effects.

Daisy Clasper, founder of Scoop Whole Beauty, believes that true beauty lies in purity and sustainability.

“Our mission is to provide high-performing, eco-friendly beauty products that offer a luxurious experience without compromising on environmental responsibility,” added Clasper.
