Stationery company Tom’s Studio has introduced The Wren, a product it says will help tackle significant waste buildup from the 9 billion pens thrown away globally each year.

Featuring an infinitely refillable ink reservoir along with a replaceable fibre tip, and made from premium materials such as precision-machined aluminium, The Wren is designed to last a lifetime.

Tom Gyr, the creator of Tom’s Studio, clarified that he launched the company to provide premium stationery products that are affordable and less harmful to the environment.

“With the launch of the Wren, we’re ready to take on the giants that have long dominated the industry by encouraging people to switch from disposable to refillable,” added Gyr.

Prior to the release of the Wren, the company introduced the Lumos, an endlessly refillable fineliner that is now their best-selling pen and available in more than 60 countries.

Customers can buy the Wren for £35 or $45 from its website.
