Car owners conscious of their environmental impact can now breathe a little easier thanks to the new range of cleaning products called Solvables.

Solvables are cleaning tablets that eliminate grease, grime, and dirt from car surfaces without toxic chemicals. They come in formulations for glass, interiors, and wheels and are ideal for use on various surfaces, including hard and soft plastics, glass, mirrors, and high-gloss finishes.

According to Callan Gates, the national business manager for Solvables, the products offer an effective and economical way to reduce single-use plastic bottles going into landfill.

“This is the only automotive cleaning product on the market where you don’t need to purchase plastic bottle after plastic bottle,” said Gates.

“We’ve solved this problem with our cleaning tablet range and reusable 500ml bottles made from 100 per cent recycled plastic.”

The company claims consumers can reduce plastic waste by switching to Solvables because aside from being made from recycled material, the tablets are also pH-neutral, making them safe for vehicles and the environment.

Car owners can choose from three different starter packs, which include reusable cleaning bottles, microfibre cloths, and tablet refills that can produce two litres of cleaning products. Tablet refill packs of four are also available.

Solvables are available at Super Cheap Auto stores, and the company said it is working on expanding its range to include more sustainable cleaning solutions.
