Due to low costs and versatility, most lipstick containers today are made out of plastic. Unfortunately, this kind of material does not decompose and difficult to recycle. Meiyume, a supplier of products and solutions for the beauty industry, addresses this challenge by introducing “Infinitely Recyclable Aluminum”, a lipstick case that’s 100 per cent recyclable.  Crafted from 100% aluminium and is fully recyclable, the innovative tube works on a patented ‘smart click system’, allowing the lipstick cap to close snuggly and securely over the case body with a soft click. The mono-material lipstick case is also fully customizable depending on customers’ preference.  As a member of the Sustainable Packaging Initiative for Cosmetics (SPICE), the brand notes it is committed to driving the circular economy and setting up practices that will have a real-world impact on the environment. The company currently produces several solutions covering mono-material packaging, post-consumer recycled plastics, and refillable products.
