California-based brand Lab Clean has launched the Eco-Refill Box, an exclusive plant-based foaming hand soap, on Amazon.
Founded with the aim of cutting down plastic use, Lab Clean says it has observed the inconvenience of the common bottles in the packaging industry and it wanted to promote a better solution to raise awareness among consumers of refill and recycling alternatives.
Featuring a convenient spout near its base, which allows users to lift and pour the liquid without having to use the heavy and bulky plastic bottles, the box’s design also helps to prevent spills and reduce the amount of single-use plastic consumed.
The Eco-Refill Box is introduced under the Bayes brand and sourced from recyclable and biodegradable material, which can lower plastic use during production by 70 per cent. Bayes Foaming Hand Soap is made from vegan ingredients and is biobased-certified by the USDA.
“People want packaging options that align with the reduction of global plastic,” said Mark Cunningham, CEO of Lab Clean. “We are introducing the best, most convenient refill packaging option, resulting in a tremendous reduction in waste.
“Our customer base always challenges us to look for ways to reduce plastic, and it made sense to introduce the box program. We have already inspired several other manufacturing partners who are now interested in changing their current packaging to the refill box option.”
Lab Clean targets customers who are passionate about environmental issues and focusing on alternative and eco-friendly products.
