Nala, an Australian sustainable underwear brand, has launched a collection dubbed “Better Than Cotton” made from alternative, eco-friendly fabrics and in sizes to suit all.
Made from a bio-based material, the compostable apparel is lighter and more breathable than traditional cotton – and uses 20 times less water in production.
Nala’s co-founder Chloe de Winte recognises how the current cost-of-living crisis is impacting many Australians and remains focused on creating garments at a fair price, while keeping the brand’s sustainability ethos. Price points range from $25 to $59.
The product lineup features a brand-new iteration of its nine-time sell-out Support Wirefree Bralette and has now added a padded wire-free bralette.
“I knew that a cotton range was a big no-no for Nala. Cotton doesn’t get the Nala sustainability tick of approval, which is a tough tick to acquire,” she added.
Nala’s inclusive underwear sizes range from A to H cup bras and XS to 6XL briefs in nine colours, including bubble gum, salt & pepper, pomegranate, cobalt dreams and licorice.
