This new product removes the need for UHT cartons and allows customers to take only one minute to make the drink by themselves at home.

Because of the strong demand for plant-based barista milk offering a sustainable yet healthier solution, the brand has launched the Barista Mylk Base product, which is plastic-free, waste-free and helps to prevent more than 800,000 cartons and containers from going to landfills.

In addition, Ulu Hye uses ingredients that are vegan, paleo, gluten-free, sugar-free, and soy-free, and are free from emulsifiers, additives, thickeners and preservatives.

“The demand for this Barista Mylk Base has been huge as people love our Mylk Bases but wanted a barista option that would stretch and froth well in their coffee and be added to tea without splitting,” said Heidi Peuten, co-founder of Ulu Hye.

“We took a long time testing as we didn’t want to release an inferior product, and after many months, we’re thrilled with the results. Not only is it easy and convenient to make, but it also has clean and minimal ingredients, and most importantly, rescues up to six cartons from entering the landfill.”

Barista Mylk Base in Almond supports customers transitioning to a healthier and more sustainable milk option. And it helps the company’s goal of saving 10 million milk cartons from going to waste.
