Krispy Kreme Australia has unveiled a new range of vegan doughnuts exclusively available at their stores and 7-Eleven in response to increased demand from the vegan community.

The range includes two flavours – the Fudge Brownie Bliss and the Apple Custard Crumble, and both will be a permanent addition to the brand’s product lineup.

Fudge Brownie Bliss is a shell-shaped doughnut filled with rich brownie batter, dipped in chocolate icing and sprinkled with chocolate biscuit crumbs. Apple Custard Crumble is a fluffy shell-shaped doughnut filled with creamy apple custard, dipped in spiced icing and topped with a vanilla biscuit crumb.

Aimee Cutajar, head of marketing at Krispy Kreme ANZ, said the new vegan-friendly doughnuts are a testament to the company’s commitment to “delivering incredible flavours” to customers.

“We’re thrilled to bring our vegan-friendly doughnuts to Australia for all to enjoy,” said Cutajar.  “I’m confident they will captivate the taste buds of vegans and non-vegans alike.”

Adam Jacka, Marketing Area Lead at 7-Eleven Australia, said a growing number of the convenience-store chain’s customers have a vegan or plant-based diet, “so we are thrilled to be offering more choice across a range of iconic hero products”.

The new vegan-friendly doughnuts will be priced the same as other selected doughnuts in the range and will be available in-store and online.
