Bombay Sapphire has collaborated with California-based artist Maggie Enterrios to launch the latest limited-edition botanically inspired label. This also marks the brand’s mission to pioneer a more sustainable future.

Maggie was inspired by Bombay Sapphire’s collaboration with its supplier and producers as well as its use of 100 per cent sustainably sourced botanicals.

“I wanted the design to feel like looking through the bottle straight into the soul of the gin: its botanical make-up,” added Enterrios.

“I loved hearing the stories of where their botanicals are sourced. The whole project resonated with me deeply – to me, it felt like a way to honour craftsmanship. The craft of the farmers who grow the botanicals, the craft that goes into the vapour infusion process and the craft of creating a meticulous piece of artwork.”

Specifically, Master of Botanicals at Bombay Sapphire Alessandro Garneri has hand-picked the 10 botanicals to create the gin’s fresh taste. It is also a way to support sustainable farming practices and protect the environment.

In addition, the world’s leading environmental assessment for buildings Breeam has awarded “Outstanding” for Bombay Sapphire. By using 100 per cent recyclable blue glass and labels made of sustainably sourced paper, the brand has achieved Carbon Trust Standard.

Customers can find Bombay Sapphire’s edition bottles for a limited time from retailers across France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Austria and Andorra.
