Boldly, the Australian plant-based food brand, is set to launch what it describes as a revolutionary one-stop shop offering a variety of vegan seafood products on the US West Coast this summer.

Boldly is known for using the konjac root vegetable as its main ingredient and creating products free from artificial colours and flavours. The brand aims to offer diverse and tasty plant-based seafood options on menus as well as positive experiences for customers.

Ananda Bhavani, CEO of Boldly, said the company wants to offer diners the same classic tastes they love from real fish, but at no cost to the ocean.

“Seafood is the world’s largest traded food commodity with approximately 3 billion people relying on it as a core source of protein,” said Bhavani.

“With 65 per cent of seafood expenditure occurring outside the home, primarily at restaurants, at Boldly we are excited to offer a variety of new plant-based choices with no compromise, bringing all the classic seafood tastes to restaurant tables, better than ever.”

In addition, Boldly and Los Angeles’ Besties Vegan Paradise have teamed together to offer a monthly chef activation series, encouraging chefs to use the vegan seafood selection of the brand to create Grab and Go menus.

Meanwhile, beyond partnering with West Coast restaurants, chefs and institutions, Boldly has become the exclusive partner to the Miss Universe Australia organisation for hosting official events and choosing chefs and restaurants across Australia to partner.
