Indara, a furniture brand founded by two Brisbane mothers Yvette & Kate, has partnered with RSPCA Queensland to save old furniture from going to landfill and launch the 3Lives project donating funds for animal welfare.

Collecting furniture rejected from Australian charities, Indara transforms old quality timber furniture into personalised modern pieces of furniture.
The pair says the quality and styling of the upcycled pieces amazes many people as the products are better than the originals.
Not only do customers prevent furniture from ending up in landfill but they also help save the lives of animals: a percentage of each furniture sale goes directly back to the RSPCA to support animal welfare.
Darren Maier, CEO of RSPCA Queensland, feels excited about the 3Lives initiative.
“With this new partnership, shoppers can not only feel good sustainably shopping at Indara, but also being able to give back to animals in need with a portion of their 3Lives furniture purchase donated to RSPCA Queensland,” added Darren.
In addition, Indara has just opened the Rocklea-based upcycling studio. Customers can experience the completed furniture or choose a donated piece from their warehouse and work with the team to design a personalised modern piece of furniture for their home.
