Australia’s The Sleep Boss has opened its first pop-up store at South Melbourne Market and is debuting a refillable aromatherapy range.

The grand opening offered bespoke Mother’s Day gift sets, free samples, giveaways, daily specials, and a refillable range of essential oil products and accessories.

“This has been more than two years in the making, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome,” said Rachael Coupe, founder.

“This is a huge step in our mission to reduce single-use plastic use in the self-care industry. People really love that our business takes 360-degree responsibility for our products, we want the casings sent back to us not sent to landfill.”

The Sleep Boss is a sustainable essential oil brand made with 100 per cent natural Australian-designed blends. The brand aims to reduce single-use plastic waste as well as educate people about 3R – reduce, reuse and recycle.

According to The Sleep Boss, its packaging is sourced from 100-per-cent recycled or plant-based materials, and nearly 90 per cent of the packing is biodegradable and compostable.

The pop-up store will be available until June 19 and opened every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm (5 pm Fridays).
