Adidas has collaborated with eco-apparel company Parley to create a football boot created in part with Parley Ocean Plastic – plastic waste recovered from remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines.

The boot pack includes Predator Accuracy, X Speedportal, and Copa Pure, and it comes in blue and white colourways with wave-patterned designs.

Adidas says it plans to continue supporting ways to reduce plastic waste by integrating Parley Ocean Plastic into more of its products. This launch is part of the brand’s partnership with Parley for the Oceans which began in 2015 when the two companies used Parley Ocean Plastic in football jerseys.

The latest innovation between Adidas and Parley is part of the sports label’s commitment to replacing virgin polyester with recycled solutions by next year.

The Adidas Football x Parley Pack is now being sold online at adidas.com and selected retailers.

Adidas also sponsors several of the world’s leading football clubs.

Last year, Adidas and Spinnova unveiled a hoodie partially made with wood.
