Krispy Kreme has rolled out its vegan-friendly doughnuts for this World Vegan Day. The vegan doughnuts will become a permanent addition to the brand’s doughnut lineup.

The new plant-based range is available in two flavours: Fudge Brownie Bliss and Apple Custard Crumble.

Both flavours are made fresh daily, says the company, and crafted to offer the same taste and freshness Krispy Kreme is known for – sans animal-derived ingredients.

Fudge Brownie Bliss features a shell-shaped doughnut filled with rich brownie batter, dipped in chocolate icing and sprinkled with choc biscuit crumbs.

Meanwhile, Apple Custard Crumble is a fluffy shell-shaped doughnut filled with creamy apple custard, dipped in spiced icing and topped with vanilla biscuit crumb.

“Krispy Kreme has always been about creating moments of joy through our delicious doughnuts,” said Aimee Cutajar, head of marketing at Krispy Kreme.

“We’re thrilled to bring our vegan-friendly doughnuts to Australia for ALL to enjoy this World Vegan Day.”

Fudge Brownie Bliss and Apple Custard Crumble doughnuts are available online and in-store at Krispy Kreme and 7-Eleven stores nationwide. The vegan-friendly doughnuts will be priced like other selected doughnuts in the range.
