Winning Product of the Year for Aussie plant-based meals this year, Plantry has made a name for itself in Australia’s growing plant-based foods market.

Now it is adding new alt-chicken products: Chicken-Style Burger, Original Chicken-Style Strips, and Lemon & Herb Chicken-Style Strips. They join Plantry’s existing ready-made meals Pad See Ew & Teriyaki.

The company says its Original Chicken-Style Strips and Lemon & Herb Chicken-Style Strips carry a 4-Star Health rating and can be used to make a range of dishes, including chicken wraps, spicy curries or plant-based pesto pasta.

Plantry’s ready-made meals are vegan-friendly, high in protein, freshly made and snap-frozen.

“Plantry is committed to making eating plant-based easy and delicious,” said Jessica Tahardi, the company’s marketing manager. “Our expansion into plant-based meats gives Aussies more opportunities to prepare recipes they know and love while giving a fork about the planet.”

To give back to the community, Plantry has partnered with One Tree Planted to choose tree planting locations across Australia and New Zealand. When customers buy a Plantry product, the company donates money towards a program to plant up to 50,000 trees, to help mitigate climate change.

“Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, flexitarian, or just love digging into delicious food, plant-based eating is a great way to do good for you and for the planet,” said Tahardi. “At Plantry, we believe in the awesome power of plants so we’re thrilled to partner with One Tree Planted to help plant trees across Australia and New Zealand.”
