Field Roast launches plant-based sandwich with Just Egg

Field Roast has partnered with California-based food technology company, Eat Just, to launch a plant-based sandwich range, which will debut exclusively at Whole Foods Market. 

The vegan breakfast sandwich features three plant-based product offerings – Field Roast Plant-Based Breakfast Sausage Patty, Just Egg Folded and Chao Creamery Creamy Original Cheese Slice. 

“This collaboration with two plant-based industry leaders joining forces will provide a better breakfast solution for the consumer seeking high-quality and delicious plant-based options for their mornings,” said Dan Curtin, president of Greenleaf Foods, owner of Field Roast. 

The product will be available exclusively at Whole Foods Market locations across the US, followed by expanded national distribution through additional retailers next year.

“This collaboration adds an innovative new co-branded product to their already impressive portfolio,” said Josh Tetrick, co-founder and CEO of Eat Just. “Our combined expertise in the breakfast space has produced a superior breakfast offering that delivers on both flavour and convenience.”

During the past year, the Field Roast brand has introduced about 10 new products, gaining distribution at more than 5500 retailers throughout North America.
