Camping brand Olpro has planted 1680 trees during the past six months in a reforestation campaign, funded by a buy-one, grow-one campaign for each tent or awning it sold.

Worcestershire, UK-based Olpro was founded in 2011 and became one of the leading brands of camping equipment in the UK. Having a team of professionals with a deep and true passion for outdoor activities, Olpro offers a range of unique and high-quality products to help change the perspective of outdoor entertainment.

With a background of prestigious awards, such as Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2021 and West Midlands’ “Digital/E-Commerce Business of the Year 2020”, Olpro has become the first choice of adventurers and outdoor socialisers.

The tree-planting initiative was launched to celebrate the company’s 10-year anniversary. The trees were planted around the world – 937 in Madagascar, 740 in Mozambique and three in Nicaragua. Olpro aims to plant several thousand by the end of the year.

“We’re proud to have planted such a significant number of trees in a relevantly short amount of time. We take great pride as a company in doing our bit to give back to the great outdoors that we all love so much,” said founder Daniel Walton.

“We also know that this is something our customers value and we’d like to think that’s one of the reasons why they’re so happy to buy our products. Our ultimate aim is to become a carbon-neutral company and we will continue to plant a tree for each Olpro tent and awning sold.”
