Australia-based activewear brand, Lorna Jane, has demonstrated its dedication to sustainability by incorporating recycled fibres into its Active Essential Range.

The brand also expects that 85 per cent of the Active Essentials Range will be made from recycled nylon and polyester by the end of this year.

This initiative belongs to the brand’s Preferred Fibre Program, aiming to lower environmental impact and encourage sustainable fashion industry practices.

Anna Fowler, CEO of Lorna Jane, said the company strives to improve and innovate in ways that benefit their customers and the environment.

“Transitioning 85 per cent of our Active Essentials Range to incorporate recycled fibres is an important step in our sustainability journey,” added Fowler.

“We believe that activewear can be both functional and responsible, and this initiative reflects our commitment to protecting our planet for future generations.”

The integration is a part of Lorna Jane’s “We Are Active Citizens” ESG program, in which the brand has committed to ethical practices, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
