Food-technology company Nabati Foods is expanding its footprint into Vietnam and South Korea with the launch of the Nabati Plant Eggz and Nabati dairy-free cheesecakes under the brand Itaban.

The company has collaborated with Nanum Foods – a Canadian business that focuses on producing plant-based food and fresh items to buyers worldwide – to offer vegan alternatives to health-conscious consumers.

Nabati Foods CEO Ahmad Yehya described a “global shift” occurring in which people are seeking food options that are healthy, sustainable, and don’t feel like a trade-off when it comes to flavour and experience.

“We look forward to expanding our community throughout South Korea and Vietnam, and ultimately bringing our products to customers worldwide.”

Nabati dairy-free cheesecakes come in four flavours: blueberry, tiramisu, chocolate, and peanut butter. The product is made with cacao powder, coconut oil and other clean ingredients.

Meanwhile, Nabati Plant Egg is gluten-free and each can serve 100 calories, 6gm of protein, and 2gm of fibre, with zero cholesterol.

Nabati Foods says cooking with Nabati’s egg alternative is the same as cooking with real chicken eggs. The product range is sold in liquid form in a 355ml bottle.
