Burger King UK is revamping its Leicester Square flagship in London to pilot a full-vegan restaurant concept for a month.
The vegan fast food restaurant is scheduled to open its doors on Monday, (March 14).
Besides the Burger King vegan version of its signature Plant-based Whopper and the Vegan Royale, the store will also introduce more than 15 vegan options, ranging from nugget burgers, cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings to non-dairy ice cream.
The pilot program will run until April 10 and may remain its vegan concept permanently if the store sees high demand, the company told Plant Based News.
The launch of its first vegan restaurant in the UK is part of the brand’s market testing before rolling more this type of stores in other countries.
