Auckland’s first electric ferry will start crisscrossing the city’s harbour from 2023, plying the commuter route between downtown and Devonport.
Yara CEO Svein Tore Holsether, says the ship will cut 1000 tonnes of CO2 and replace 40,000 trips by diesel-powered trucks each year.
Carbon fibre ferry, with a passenger capacity of 135, will traverse the harbour of New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington.
